Welcome to the Flint Hills Regional Council’s Needs Assessment System Portal. This system is a tool to help identify our member communities and partners' unfunded needs and receive baseline information about those needs in order to collectively work to identify potential funding strategies and jump on grant funding opportunities when they arise. Grant application timelines are often short, so determining priorities and obtaining baseline information about unfunded needs allows quick action to compete for funding.

Unfunded needs may also include projects and action items identified within our Flint Hills Economic Development District Plan — both local and regional needs. Only unfunded needs valued at more than $5,000 will be considered. The system will ask the type of unfunded need, justification for why it is needed, an estimated cost (if known), its priority, and contact information for additional questions related to the request should a funding strategy be identified.
